2003 Pontiac Grand Prix Problem/advice needed?

Sometimes it starts hesitating 4 30 minutes or so i can feel a little jump everytime it changes gear whether it was up or down no matter how fast I go. sometimes i can feel it changing gears smoothly and perfect, other times it starts jumping and hesitating..it's automatic. it's overheated before, and i changed the radiator, and checked everything else, it never does it with the mechanic, and he couldn't find out what's up. anyone has an idea?

also I found out that it's got more horsepower than most of the 90's mustangs, I'd like to pump more horepower into it, keep it original on the outside, but bad *** on the inside. Things people told me so far:

1) Cold Air Intake

2) Turbo Charger

3) New Exhaust

anything else? I love the tires of a BMW, you think they'd go with such a car? thanks!2003 Pontiac Grand Prix Problem/advice needed?
How many miles on your car?

If you have the 3.8 or 3.8 s/c they are known for tranny problems and that could be the jump/slip you feel.

Clean you MAF, it is near your throttle body. Do a google search on how to clean it. Then for power mods, skip the CAI and go with a home made FWI you need a 45* elbow pvc, 6ft section of pvc, and a 90* elbow. Speedbuilt performance makes a metal one but cost 3 times as much and does the same thing. Don't forget to get a filter, 7%26quot; fits in there perfectly.

What you would do is get a coupler to connect 45* elbow to throttle body, PVC glue that to about 3' of straight pipe, attach the 90* in the wheel well along with the cone.

A computer from DHPinc (digital horsepower)

Get rid of the u-bend under the car, no need for whole exhaust.

3%26quot; downpipe.

Enjoy for a little while saving for that turbo.2003 Pontiac Grand Prix Problem/advice needed?
Maybe the transmission is in need of a fluid and filter change or flush. If the fluid is really over 24,000 miles old it is due for a change. This would be a really remote thing but I had this problem in my car and it was a plastic bag that got stuck in the air cleaner box and it would choke off the air filter.
