How often should you flush out your radiator?

Its about my mom's vechile. Its a 1995 dodge van running a 3.9 liter V6 Magnum. We got it a few years ago put I would say almost 10,000 miles on it. What are the signs of knowing when your radiator needs to be flushed. We change the oil every 3000 miles if not a few hundred over. And we just changed the transmission fluid last fall. A good answer would be appreciated thanks. How often should you flush out your radiator?
coolant flush every three years to prevent electrolysis to occur and also for cooling radiator hoses every 5 years it is preventitive maintenenceHow often should you flush out your radiator?
Well you should deffinatly have the radiator flushed especially if it hasn't been changed in a while, its always a plus and you should have it flushed yearly to keep it in good condition, so you should have it flushed once a year so your parts don't get worn down, and you so can keep your engine nice and cool and so you don't build sludge in your oil...How often should you flush out your radiator?
I would do it on that particular car at least every 2 years or 30k replace the t-stat too dont forget to have it pressure tested and the cap tested as well. How often should you flush out your radiator?

There is no specific date for flushing on many vehicles, as it relates to type of corrosion inhibitor used, overheating status, and etc.. Some types do not need replacing for up to a couple of years, and the best method of knowing when it is due is with a litmus test to determine if it is breaking down. Most reputable radiator services will carry out this test for you free of charge.

It is also best to put back in a good grade inhibitor, and preferably of the same manufacture type so as to reduce possible chemical reactions, which will reduce the life of the inhibitor.

If you do not know, then put in a good inhibitor, and check the rate of deterioration over the first year. How often should you flush out your radiator?
Annually is best. I never flushed mine - I've been lucky til now! lolHow often should you flush out your radiator?
I'm guessing you mean 100,000 miles. The coolant and the transmission fluid should be flushed every 30,000 miles. Be sure to have the transmission filter changed when they flush it, all the Jiffy Lube type places do NOT do this. Also a good idea to flush out the power steering and brake fluids. The coolant can be tested with either test strips or a refractometer. It should be a bright green color. When it turns a dirty color it is defiantly time to flush it. Many shops will do a courtesy inspection and tell you what fluids need to be changed and any other routine maintenance.
