How do i put transmission fluid in my '97 honda accord?

I own a 97 honda accord-automatic(special edition)-4 cyl, [no v-tech] I changed my radiator yesturday and spilled out alot of tranny fluid. I am not sure how to add more. Also, i heard u should run the car for a little bit in order to check the level of tranny fluid because the car needs to be warm. I kno that the car has to be cool to check engine fluid, but does it have to be warm to check the transmission fluid? How do i put transmission fluid in my %26039;97 honda accord?
yes you have to have the car running to check your tranny fluid level. You fill the tranny fluid through the dip stick tube for transmission. Check your owners Manuel for proper type of fluid. How do i put transmission fluid in my %26039;97 honda accord?
There is not a dipstick tube on your Honda. There is a hole in which the dipstick is located and the fluid is added through it. You will need a special funnel or use a length of rubber hose on a regular funnel. The fluid level is checked with the engine off and warm, car parked level. How do i put transmission fluid in my %26039;97 honda accord?
you fill the transmission the same place where you check it at and yes the transmission has to be hot and parked on a level surface with the engine running. pull the stick out, wipe it off, put it back in, pull it back out and read it. if it,s in the cross hairs then it,s fine. just don,t overfill it.
