i have a 00 honda civic dx 1.6L SOHC and my engine check light came on. My car idles somewhat high (cant really tell how high i dont have a tach) when i start the engine but goes to its normal idling after maybe 5 seconds... i just changed my radiator and put new coolant in about 3 weeks ago and never had problems till now... i have my own speculations but i wanna hear what youll say... You can go to Autozone and they can check the light for FREE and tell you what is wrong.

Check engine light indicates most likely that you have a bad O2 sensor. You will need the OBDII reader code to determine exactly which O2 sensor is bad.
