i have a vs commodore wagon and on the weekend i changed the radiator and i noticed my condenser is stuffed, i was wondering if anyone knew how to replace it at home (step's would be great lol) but anything will help thank youI have more car problems?
Actually, it's against the law to open the A/C system and allow the refrigerant to escape to atmosphere as well as quite dangerous.
You will need an evacuation and charging station to evacuate and retrieve the freon gas, a vacuum pump to remove all air from the system prior to recharging and a quantity of R134a HFC. You may need a receiver/drier too.
In short, it's not a job that can be done at home by the owner/driver although there are a few mobile outfits that can do the work.I have more car problems?
Spray it down with spray nine or super clean, wait about 10 minutes and rinse off with water (be carefull if you use pressure washer) can damage condensor fins easily.
